Funding projects and competitions All information about the application Numerous national and state-wide funding projects and competitions invite daycare centers to apply with their ideas, projects and contributions relating to early education. We present selected projects here. TigerKids Health education in daycare centers: Since the 2019/2020 kindergarten year, the "Tigers" have been on the loose nationwide. The program gives children and educational professionals many positive experiences and moves the whole family. Climate adaptation in daycare centers The Federal Ministry for the Environment's funding program to support social institutions promotes climate adaptation concepts such as the installation of sun sails or the construction of water playgrounds. The design of the next funding window is currently being planned. KlimaKita.NRW Habits and climate-friendly behavior such as separating waste, saving energy and avoiding food waste are already formed in childhood. That's why children and adolescents experience exactly that with climate education: they learn with and from each other, share and question. Sustainable behavior is practiced at an early age and thus becomes a topic in the family and with friends - because there is no minimum age for climate protection.
