TigerKids
Contents and objectives of the program
After a content and graphic revision phase, the successful "TigerKids - Kindergarten aktiv" program is once again being offered free of charge to all kindergartens nationwide thanks to the cooperation between the Children's Health Foundation and the Siemens Company Health Insurance (SBK).
The aim of the program is to strengthen children's health and thus prevent overweight and obesity in childhood. Together with the tiger as a hand puppet, the children learn about the most important topics of health promotion in a playful way. By experiencing and trying out the topics of nutrition, exercise and relaxation together, the children are inspired to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Teachers are supported in their work with extensive program materials and additional ideas for creating a healthy environment in the kindergarten. An online platform with a forum and download area supports the start and implementation of the program. Parents are also actively involved in the program via parents' evenings and newsletters.
Order free of charge
Interested childcare facilities can now order the materials on the program homepage. Here you will find further information about the program in addition to the ordering option. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact the staff at the Children's Health Foundation:
