Information on improving indoor air (avoiding pollutants)
Poor or polluted indoor air, sometimes associated with odors, impairs well-being, reduces performance and can affect health. The cause is often pollutants that have entered the air from building materials, furnishings or paints, for example. Other reasons may lie in usage behavior (ventilation, cleaning).
The indoor air specialist portal bundles information and contact details for the responsible bodies and provides an initial overview of the legal framework.
This information service was designed especially for public buildings. It is primarily aimed at the management and operators of schools, childcare facilities and other public buildings.
The NRW indoor air portal was revised and updated with the support of the LANUV in the last quarter of 2020. The "fragrances" were also added. All further information can be found at: www.innenraumluft.nrw.de
