All children eat with us in plain language

At the daycare center, all children should be able to eat lunch together.
But some families have little money.
There is a program for this.
The program is called "All children eat together".
The program has been extended until 31 July 2026. July 2026.

The program is designed to support families with little money.
So all children can eat lunch together.
And all children can take part in excursions.

There is a cost subsidy for this.
This means:
The families receive money from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The subsidy is for cases of particular hardship.

A case of hardship is a special situation.
This only applies
when children do not receive any money from the education and participation package.

For example, when families:

• have just enough money to live on,
  but nothing left over.
• have too little money.
• have other problems with money.
• live in a difficult situation.
• do not have a secure residence status.
  This means:
  The people do not receive any money from the social welfare office.
  And they do not receive any money from the Asylum Seeker Benefits Act.
  But they live in NRW.
• are unreachable.
  But the daycare center sees:
  The child urgently needs support.

Important:

You must submit an application.
Only then will you receive a grant.
