All Children Eat Together in Simple Language

All children should be able to eat lunch together at daycare.
But some families don’t have much money.
There’s a program for that.
The program is called “All Children Eat Together.”
The program has been extended through July 31, 2028.

A subsidy is available for this purpose.

Families receive money from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

A hardship case is a special situation.
This applies only
if children do not receive any money from the Education and Participation Package.

For example, if families:

• have just enough money to get by,
  but nothing left over.
• don’t have enough money.
• have other financial problems.
• are living in a difficult situation.
• do not have secure residency status.
  This means:
  These people do not receive money from the social services office.
  And they do not receive money under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act.
  But they live in North Rhine-Westphalia.
• are not eligible.
  But the daycare center sees that:
  The child urgently needs support.

Important:

You must submit an application.
Only then will you receive a subsidy.
