Basic course "Interdisciplinary cooperation in child protection" (IKIK)

A service offered by the Competence Center for Child Protection NRW, Kinderschutzbund Landesverband NRW e. V.

Would you like to train your network in interdisciplinary cooperation and create a common basis?

You would like to improve cooperation in child protection with other professional groups in your day-to-day work?

The Child and Youth Strengthening Act and the NRW State Child Protection Act place particular emphasis on interdisciplinary cooperation between the professional groups and institutions involved in child protection.
How this can succeed is the focus of the IKIK basic course, which deals with the roles of the actors involved, their tasks and procedures in child protection and how these can be coordinated.

The basic course is funded by the MKJFGFI. The curriculum was developed with the advisory support of a quality circle appointed by the Ministry of Children and Youth, in which experts from all fields of action were represented.

A few places are still available for the course instructor training on April 22 and 23, 2024.

Participation in the IKIK basic course is billable as further training for the performance of tasks in accordance with Section 8a (4) and (5) SGB VIII via the subject-related lump sum for the qualification of pedagogical staff in child daycare, see No. 2.7 of the Funding principles 2024.
