Promoting development with the aid of chess
The globally unique "Chess for Kids" initiative was founded in 2006 and has developed a certified teaching method that individually promotes the mental and social development of children from the age of three and can compensate for concentration and learning weaknesses. A scientific study and a large-scale practical trial with over 3,000 children demonstrated a significant improvement in memory, language, concentration, perseverance, interaction, creativity and forward-looking, spatial, logical and strategic thinking! The supporting teaching materials are already being used in over 2,175 daycare centers and elementary school in Germany.Learning the "Game of Kings" is just a pleasant side effect of the educational program. The aim is to playfully promote the individual development of children from the age of three. This is achieved with a globally unique concept that is implemented together with nursery or primary school teachers. They do not need to have any previous knowledge either. The initiative provides everything needed for playful learning and development together with the children: Special play materials, instructions, educational tips, advice, training and further training in seminars.

With Chess for Kids, we got to know our children from a new perspective. We have recognized gifts and talents that we hadn't seen before.
"Chess for Kids" challenges and encourages the creative processes present in the facilities. Chess is ideal in combination with other activities. The game can be used completely individually not only with children, but can also be integrated into the everyday routines of a facility. Something suitable can be made, painted, baked, read aloud, performed, etc.
