The TU Dortmund University is looking for interview participants for a study on the reasons for drop-outs in childcare and educator training
In order to better understand the reasons for drop-outs in social pedagogical training courses and to be able to develop targeted countermeasures, the DJI/TU Dortmund research association is conducting a study funded by the Ministry of Family Affairs.

For this study, we are still looking for people who have dropped out of their training as a childcare worker or educator or are about to do so. If you know of any suitable interviewees, please forward this message to them. The interviews will last a maximum of 45 minutes, will be remunerated appropriately and offer the opportunity to actively participate in improving the training situation.

Background: The persistently high demand for skilled workers in child and youth welfare requires continuous measures to effectively meet this challenge on the labor market. In addition to opening up the field to other professional groups and retaining staff in the profession, particular attention must be paid to people in socio-educational training.
